Background

[Edit me] Applied Technology Mentors, Inc. ("Appltech") builds software and offers guidance on doing it well with AI assistance. Add a short history here: who is behind Appltech, what you have built, and why you started.

More than code

[Edit me] AI coding agents can draft, refactor, test and explain code quickly. The harder questions are about the team around them: how work is planned, how it is checked, and who decides. Appltech's focus is on discovering how agile and Scrum practices carry over to agentic software development, and where they need to change.

Approach

  • A shared backlog. User stories and acceptance criteria live in the repository, so people and agents work from the same source of truth.
  • Short sprints, small slices. Each change is small enough to test and review within an iteration.
  • One definition of done. Agent work meets the same bar as human work: tests pass and a person has reviewed it.
  • Clear roles. A Product Owner sets priorities; agents propose; people decide, verify and own the result.
  • Regular retrospectives. The Journey records what worked and what didn't, for the whole team.

Working together

[Edit me] Describe how teams can get guidance on applying agile practices to AI-assisted development (mentoring, consulting or collaboration), then point people to the contact page.
